I have been experimenting this year with trying to produce more impressionistic images.

I have been trying to take impressionistic images outside in nature rather than in a controlled environment indoors. The aim is to get a better hit rate of good/bad images.

Panning is much harder than I thought.

1. Speed of pan

2. Consistency

3. Direction of pan

4. Lighting conditions

5. Camera settings.

Indoors, I have been using long exposure times but outside I have been trying 1/20 second at f22. Not all images are successful!
